We’re started our first diorama with a scene just off the warfront where first-aid is being delivered to soldiers. One of the most prominent figures is our diorama is Baron Larrey, Napoleon’s personal doctor, who invented the ambulance in 1792. The ambulance featured in our diorama is a simple wagon with a roof led by horses. There is also a glance at a man being carried in a gurney by two soldiers.
In the diorama, there is a sergeant carrying Larrey’s briefcase, as well as a small wooden fold-out chair which holds an open toolbox with Larrey’s instruments, where you can identify each tool separately. These are the first steps in a plan to add a few injured figures, a figure being loaded into the ambulance, as well as several pieces of medical equipment, including Wurst. On request, we can make a complete diorama out of the mentioned figures.
Here you can find few pictures of diorama.
